- Favorite Children's Books:
- I grew up reading horse stories. I loved Brighty of the Grand Canyon, Misty of Chincoteague, Black Gold, Black Beauty and My Friend Flicka.
- Why should kids read?
- Kids who read learn more and, from what I hear, score higher on achievement tests than kids who don't read. Kids who read are more apt to go to college. And let's face it, in today's day and age, you need a college degree if you expect to find any kind of decent job.
