I love spending time with my family - cooking with my hubby, watching movies & listening to music with my daughter, weekend trips to the Smokey Mountains & wacky golf. They got me a Yorkie for Mother's Day - I named him Kofu & he's my little buddy, goes everywhere with me!
After lots of encouragement & many sleepless nights trying to figure out where to begin, I stepped into the book reviewing arena. And haven't looked back (yet)! I think I have found my niche' in life. I absolutely love reading & now wish I hadn't waited so long to give it a try. (Which has finally given my hubby something to say "i told you so about.") :-)

- Why should kids read?
- Reading encourages children (as well as adults) to use their imagination. Also, reading provides many life lessons & B/c it is cleaverly hidden just below the surface - behind the rhymes & colorful drawings, they rarely realize they are learning.
There's nothing quite like seeing a child's eyes widen or hearing them say "and then what Mom.."
