About Me:: I write about ghosts, psychics, aliens, mermaids, witches and clones. I even wrote about cheerleaders once -- which was scary because for research I had to go "undercover" as a coach at Cheer Camp.

Now research is as easy as reading my horoscope or getting hanging out at psychic fairs. I've had fun writing THE SEER series, about a 16 year old psychic who falls in love (twice) and dies once (briefly). The 5th book, FATAL CHARM, comes out in August 07.

I love lots of random things like cats, chocolate, reality shows, anything sparkly, trees, sunshine and the ocean.

I have the same best friend as I did in elementary school and we have the same birthday (except I'm a year older).

I have two kids and they both enjoy reading -- but not MY books.

Favorite Children's Books:: Angie Sage's MAGYK series, Harry Potter, City of Ember, Escape Into Memory, Time Windows, A Drowned Maiden's Hair, Grand & Humble, Vote For Larry, Jumper, pb's by Verla Kay & Linda Susan Smith, Midnighters, Uglies, Dragonrider, Island of the Aunts and Loretta Mason Potter (a rare & pecular book!)

Why should kids read?: * To discover the world only alive in other people's minds.
* To live more than one life.
* To understand the characters of life.
* To support poor authors.

To celebrate the 5th THE SEER book, FATAL CHARM, which comes out on August 1st, I'm offering a writing contest with two 1st place prizes of $100.

There is no entry fee. And it's just for young writers from age 10-19.
